Subhash
Kabini Power Corporation Limited
This company owns on the ‘Build, Own and Operate’
basis a 20 MW Kabini Dam Hydro Power Plant in Karnataka. The
company utilizes the surplus overflow of water during monsoons
to generate power by constructing a powerhouse at the toe
of the Kabini Dam.
SPML Industries Ltd
SPML Industries Ltd was established in the year 1989, for
the purpose of manufacturing pre-stressed concrete pipes,
Hume steel pipes, mild steel pipes and allied products. The
company’s factories, located in Faridabad, Haryana and
Mysore have an annual production capacity of 30,000 metric
tons of PSC pipes and 40,000 metric tons of MS pipes. The
factory is licensed to use BIS certification mark.
Subhash Utility Management Services Private
Limited
Combining the expertise and practical knowledge of the Group
in water management projects, this company was set up to become
the management house for all water utility systems within
the Group. The in-depth experience in the operation and maintenance
of water services and the latest collaboration with EDAMS
(a leading technology firm in Cyprus) together facilitates
optimum use of the Group’s resources in executing effective
water supply projects.
Sanmati
Homes Private Limited
As a real estate wing of the Group, Sanmathi Homes was set
up to develop a residential and commercial township in Whitefield,
Bangalore. Awa Power Company Pvt. Ltd. This company is setting
up a 3x1.5 MW mini hydel scheme that utilizes the discharges
and head of Awa Khad, a tributary of the river Beas, for generating
electricity. The project involves the construction of a 690
m long power channel tunnel and a 1.40 diameter, 467 m long
penstock. It will generate nearly 21 million units of power
in a 75% dependable year and this generated power will be
transmitted through a 7 km long 33 kV double circuit transmission
line to the
Iqu Power Company Pvt Ltd
IQU Power Company Pvt. Ltd. This company is setting up a 3x1.5
MW mini hydel scheme that utilizes the discharges and head
of Iqu Khad, a tributary of the river Beas, for generating
electricity. This scheme involves the construction of a 492
km long tunnel and a 1.10 diameter, 320 m long penstock. It
will generate nearly 22 million units of power in a 75% dependable
year and this generated power will be transmitted through
an 18 km long 33 kV double circuit transmission line to the
Dehan sub-station.
Luni
Power Company Pvt. Ltd.
This company is setting up a 3x1.5 MW mini hydel scheme that
utilizes the discharges and head of Luni Khad, a tributary
of the river Beas, for generating electricity. This scheme
involves the construction of a 197mtr long tunnel, 1417 mtr
long power channel and a 1.1 mtr diameter, 300 mtr long penstock.
It will generate nearly 20 million units of power in a 75%
dependable year and this generated power is transmitted through
a 6 km long 33 kV double circuit transmission line to the
Baijnath sub-station.
Neogal
Power Company Pvt. Ltd.
The company is setting up a 3x1.5 MW mini hydel scheme that
utilizes the discharges and head of Neogal Khad, a tributary
of the river Beas, for generating electricity. This scheme
involves the construction of a diversion weir with a riverbank
intake across the Neogal Khad, a 1693 km long tunnel &
a 1.25 diameter, 335 m long penstock. It will generate nearly
22 million units of power in
a 75% dependable year and this generated power is transmitted
through an 8 km long 33 kV double circuit transmission line
to the Maranda sub-station, through two 4 MVA, 3.3/33 kV ONAN
type transformer.
Binwa
Hydro Electric Power Company Pvt. Ltd.
This company is setting up a mini hydel plant that utilizes
the discharges and head of Binwa Khad, a tributary of the
river Beas, for generating electricity. This project involves
the construction of a 1550 km long tunnel & a 1.4 diameter,
427 m long penstock. It will generate nearly 21 million units
of power in a 75% dependable year and this generated power
will be transmitted through a 6 km long 33 kV double circuit
transmission line to the Baijnath sub-stations through a 6
MVA, 3.3/33 kV ONAN type transformer.
Delhi
Waste Management Pvt. Ltd.
SPML formed a joint venture with Tetrapeck of North Columbia,
called Delhi Waste management Pvt. Ltd., to undertake a solid
urban waste management project. DWMPL is responsible for educating
people on waste segregation and to drop different kinds of
waste into different bins, which will be cleared round-the-clock
into specially designed imported containers and delivered
at the dumping yard for recycle.
